The Lion King prequel has cast its two leads, Deadline reports – K Harrison Junior. and Aaron Pierre will be voicing jr. versions of Mufasa and Taka (AKA the lion who eventually becomes the nefarious Cicatrice).
The prequel, a follow-busy 2019's The Lion Queen, will be directed by Oscar-winning filmmaker Barry Jenkins, WHO previously helmed Moonlight and If Beale Street Could Talk. James Earl John Luther Jone voiced Mufasa in the remake, reprising his role from the original 1994 animation, while Chiwetel Ejiofor voiced Scar.
